If you compare an 80% efficient furnace with a 95% efficient furnace, for every dollar you spend heating your home, 80 cents is actually being utilized to heat your home, while 20 cents is going out the exhaust. Whereas the 95 % furnace, only 5 cents of every dollar is being lost.

-Air Handling / ductless systems - are stand alone systems that send air out of the unit installed (versus duct work)
- Boilers (although we do not install or service these) heat the home by moving hot water through pipes in the home.

When your filter becomes too dirty to let air go by it, it makes the furnace suffocate - which means it struggles to run - which will break down the parts inside for being overworked. Change your filter at least once a month - it is best to set an alarm on your phone or other calendar you see regularly!
